Clean, calm, beautiful place. Very nicely decorated and astonishing surroundings. Fresh river accessible in the backyard where one can swim if one want, otherwise the superb pool in the garden is excellent. The food was tasty, really homecooked directly prepared at the stove with a lovely familiar atmosphere. The rooms was amazing with working air conditioning, clean surfaces and bedsheets and a terrace. The host was very easily reachable, extremely friendly and helped us with a bunch of advices for our travels! All in all just a wonderful experience which I highly recommend to anyone!

The Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona is located within the Tayrona National Natural Park 33 km from Santa Marta, offers a terrace and mountain views with a direct encounter with the nature.

Kudos to Dario at the reception who made the checkin easy and gave a lot of info, goof food, reasonable prices, try the fruit bowl! You’ll see what i say after you order it, two jaccuzies, hot and cold, and a nice view to crash after long walk to Cabo Juan

At Hierba Buena Eco Hostel guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

I recommend staying here or any other high score hotel near the parque tayrona's entrance, if you're not a backpacker. From here you can take the bus that goes to Palomino or Santa Marta and do many other things like tubing and walk different trekking routes with beautiful cascades, streams etc.

Very chill and casual vibe with professional service. Most of all I want to give a shout out to the incredible staff, Juan David, Nidian, Lisette, Dian and Mario, among the few who made our stay so exceptional with their kindness, cheerfulness and commitment to making the guest experience memorable and enjoyable.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 4 pozos, without exaggeration it was our best stay in Colombia (and probably beyond). The room is gorgeous and very big, full of clever well built details from a beautiful wooden fan, nice airflow, polarized windows (the sun is very strong!), lovely chairs, and a massive and super comfy bed. It had the amenities one would expect, bug net, different lighting options, a kitchen, down the stairs, with refrigerator and all tools you could possibly need, all brand new. The outdoor spaces were even more breath-taking, expectacular views of the jungle - we saw tucans and hummingbirds - there is a tree in front of the window and one can just sit outside and enjoy these woderful birds. And at night we had a moonless sky with tons of stars, the sound of the river and the jungle. The hammock, natural water pools and deck netting were all perfect. We were in total amazement for the whole stay. Customer service I must say, we got a 5-star hotel service, customized and private. Thomas, the owner, was just great. He was available for us when we needed him, with no pressure or anything. Simply all to our time needs, he drove us where we had to go, told us about life in the jungle and a bit of what the community there looks like. He's your guy! Ana Maria took care of us for breakfast and dinner, she helped us order food that was delivered right at the room. Breakfast was really delicious, with eggs cooked to our taste and fresh fruit coming straight from the farm! On our last day, after check out, they let us stay at the property enjoying the pool, and offered us delicious coconuts and towels to shower!

At the country house, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Nice clean Hotel. The AC was ice cold. TV was good. Bed was comfy. Reception staff is great. Just across the main road in Buritaca where all the buses from Santa Marta stop. Close to the party hostel Rio. Better accommodation than a hostel. About 25 minutes pleasant walk to the Buritaca river/ beach. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
