The owner and the staff were extremly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The place was beautiful with a good size pool, kitchen to use and it was right by the river. We spended a lot of time sitting in the river or walking in the river up and down.

The Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona is located within the Tayrona National Natural Park 33 km from Santa Marta, offers a terrace and mountain views with a direct encounter with the nature. Very clean, close to the entrance of the park, which is so convenient to drop the load and continue the journey. Kudos to Dario at the reception who made the checkin easy and gave a lot of info, goof food, reasonable prices, try the fruit bowl! You’ll see what i say after you order it, two jaccuzies, hot and cold, and a nice view to crash after long walk to Cabo Juan

The room is your own haven with screened walls on some walls for a bug-free immersion into the forest. Very light/clean/airy! The night insects whistle at night, and you wake to the birds in the morning! The grounds are stunning and immaculate! They have lovely cats & dogs happily enjoying the property with you! Especially Mateo!:: ... They have the best customer service, handling all your needs, and they speak English and Spanish which can be a big plus for travelers! They sent their dogs with me for the back roads hike to beautiful waterfalls! The dogs led the way (pic attached!). Then when I came back, I tracked mud all over my floor. Carmen instantly arrived with a mop and cleaned my floor! Then I had a perfectly clean room again! 👍 .... I fell in love with Trompito, and the staff here mentioned a nice apartment down the road, which ended up being perfect for me, and now I will be neighbors to this lovely accommodations that offers you a unique and complete experience of a lifetime!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos is situated in Los Naranjos, 35 km from Santa Marta and a 5 minute drive from Tayrona park main entrance. The service is amazing, everyone is so nice and they are always smiling and wiling to help. The food is delicious and the place is just a dream come true!!!

Kantawa Hotel & Spa, located in Calabazo, Santa Marta, only 3 km from the entrance of the Tayrona National Park, features an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, and a wellness centre offering a steam bath,... Staff were excellent our favourite was the food and the great job done by the chef!

Beautiful property and wooden houses had outstanding essentials. Lots of nature and would recommend to families that love nature. It’s very tranquil! We loved the place.

TV was good. Bed was comfy. Reception staff is great. Just across the main road in Buritaca where all the buses from Santa Marta stop. Close to the party hostel Rio. Better accommodation than a hostel. About 25 minutes pleasant walk to the Buritaca river/ beach. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The ecohabs are gorgeous and with views of the beautiful Tayrona sea and the mountain jungle. They are very comfortable and the beds have mosquito nets. We do suggest you close all windows at around 5 pm so the mosquitoes do not enter the ecohab. The downstairs area was amazing, we had some lovely wine late into the night admiring the stars and listening to the sea. The food was delicious although a bit expensive, but that is okay considering it is a stay inside the Tayrona National Park, far away from the city. The sea is dreamy and the beach where you can swim is a mere 5-minute walk away (in some other beaches of the Tayrona it is dangerous to swim and, therefore, prohibited). So, it was very handy to be so close to the safe beach. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and think this is the best place to stay in the Tayrona National Park!
