We travel with a lot of people and made some changes that would actually would have been rejected somewhere else but they handle the situation with a lot of patience and professional. The Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona is located within the Tayrona National Natural Park 33 km from Santa Marta, offers a terrace and mountain views with a direct encounter with the nature. This is a true paradise hotel located into a forest - still being well separated from it to guarantee the necessary relax after a very long day (you're going to need it facing the long journey into the Tayrona park!). This honestly was one of the best hotel I've ever experienced in my life.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos is situated in Los Naranjos, 35 km from Santa Marta and a 5 minute drive from Tayrona park main entrance. The hotel itself is fantastic and it has a luxury feel to it. The location by the beach and the river is amazing. The place was very clean and because there aren't that many rooms, you feel like you have the place to yourself. Alongside the location of the Hotel, the food was the best that we had in Columbia - For Lunch and Dinner there is such a wide range to choose from and it always was very tasty and freshly prepared. Only a short 5 minute taxi ride to the entrance of Tayrona park as well which was good. All round, a great place to stay.

Kantawa Hotel & Spa, located in Calabazo, Santa Marta, only 3 km from the entrance of the Tayrona National Park, features an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, and a wellness centre offering a steam bath,... Fantastic food from Carlos the cook and fantastic hospitality from Charles and his team! The site is beautiful and directly next to the river. So don’t forget you mosquito spray! Very helpful team, we asked them to store our luggage for two days because we stayed in tayrona for two nights and it was no problem at all. They even offered us to use the pool area afterwards.

Beautiful property and wooden houses had outstanding essentials. Lots of nature and would recommend to families that love nature. It’s very tranquil! We loved the place.

TV was good. Bed was comfy. Reception staff is great. Just across the main road in Buritaca where all the buses from Santa Marta stop. Close to the party hostel Rio. Better accommodation than a hostel. About 25 minutes pleasant walk to the Buritaca river/ beach. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
