It is just in front of the castle. You can walk easily to the castle and with just 5 minutes walk go to the center of the city. This is a very convenient place. There were comfortable beds and pillows. The room is clean and well maintained. The bathroom is clean. The hotel has a private parking lot. It was free of charge and highly convenient to park the car in the hotel while walking in the city and visiting attractions. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of food selections.

We recently stayed in this beautiful and well-equipped apartment in the perfect location in Freiburg, and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tom, who handed us the keys and gave us a tour of the apartment, making us feel right at home. The place was clean, and the highlight was the terrace with a wonderful jacuzzi and amazing views, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Tom was very helpful, providing us with restaurant recommendations and taking the time to show us the nearby parking garage. We were fortunate to borrow a parking permit from him, which made our stay even more convenient and we payed half the price with the permit. As we had an electric car, it was a huge plus that we could easily charge it in the garage. Our stay was fantastic, and we would love to return to this apartment in the future. Highly recommended!

Tom is a friendly and helpful host with lots of tips regarding restaurants, bars and things to do.

This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town of Hinterzarten. The double room I was in was large and with a great size balcony; the spotlessly clean bathroom that looked like it had been installed recently. The hotel has excellent wellness facilities. And there is great food available for breakfast and served for dinner. The hotel is run by a family which creates a great atmosphere and services are delivered with great care and pride. It is relatively easy to travel to Hinterzarten by public transport and the hotel is within 10 mins walk from the railway station. The forest trails start within less than 100 meters from the hotel. There are great many forest walks and lots of things to do in the area.
