This centrally located hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Berchtesgaden Train Station. Each room has a balcony offering stunning views of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps. Our stay at AlpinaRos was lovely, such an amazing view from outside the room and breakfast area. The staff were incredible. We didn't realise the room didn't have a fridge but we were able to keep our small cold goods at the front desk fridge. The breakfast was superb, best breakfast we had during our one month holiday in Europe. Parking was great for our rental car, and short walk to the main area of town. The view was just sublime. Room was comfy, slight dated but totally fine. Really welcoming staff and we appreciate the high level of kindness and support.

This 5-star family-run hotel in Bad Füssing offers an extensive garden with sun loungers, free WiFi and free parking in the underground garage. The staff were very friendly and the spa was amazing. It was easy to find a place by yourself in the upstairs infinity pools. The physiotherapist was amazing and really helped my pain levels. The food was incredible. Plentiful and of a very high and tasty standard. A seven course dinner no less and included in half board. The hotel had free e-bikes to borrow and the town was set out so perfectly for riding around. You can ride over the bridge between Germany and Austria. There were many fitness activities you could sign up for like stretching and water aerobics. I had a wonderful time. I could have stayed there another week at least!

Set in a 12th-Century building, this hotel offers spa facilities and elegant rooms overlooking gardens and the beautiful Tauber Valley. It stands on the edge of Rothenburg’s Medieval town centre. We look forward to returning because there is no where better to stay. The personal touch of a family run hotel is priceless. We had excellent recommendations for activities and restraints. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable as well as authentically German. We already have friends booking at stay because it is in the perfect corner of the walled city -- near the cathedral, close to the main square, right at the beautiful garden gate, and in easy walking to excellent dinner options.
