This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town of Hinterzarten. The double room I was in was large and with a great size balcony; the spotlessly clean bathroom that looked like it had been installed recently. The hotel has excellent wellness facilities. And there is great food available for breakfast and served for dinner. The hotel is run by a family which creates a great atmosphere and services are delivered with great care and pride. It is relatively easy to travel to Hinterzarten by public transport and the hotel is within 10 mins walk from the railway station. The forest trails start within less than 100 meters from the hotel. There are great many forest walks and lots of things to do in the area.

Boasting an idyllic location, this family-run hotel is a cosy base for excursions in the picturesque Markgräflerland region. Breakfast and dinner exceeded expectations. While the food is certainly German, it's a lighter version of specifically local foods. We appreciated this a lot since our stay was in the summer. Breakfast offers enough variety that we did not tire of it during our three day stay. The views are beautiful, and the staff is friendly.
