The Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden is a luxurious lifestyle retreat nestled in Berchtesgaden amidst the idyllic Bavarian Alps, offering breathtaking mountain views. Came here for our honeymoon. The service was perfect from check-in until we left the hotel. The attention from the staff was excellent, with personal greetings at every opportunity, especially the staff at the restaurant during breakfast and the team at the entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kempinski Berchtesgaden. The breakfast was delicious, the room was fantastic, and the view was absolutely stunning. I will definitely stay at Kempinski Berchtesgaden again when I visit Bavaria.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. Me and my wife traveled with a baby boy 1 year and 10 months old , The hotel exceeded our expectation , For the first time I felt as I owe to them, Staff is very responsive and helpful , I would like specially to thank, Mr Bozilov and Svetlana from reception . We were with breakfast, lunch and dinner . Quality of food is excellent , very delicious , Service in restaurant exceeded my expectation . Location is very quiet , it makes stay relaxing And joyful . Outdoor and indoor space are enough to Serve all needs for all Ages ! We made friends with family from Dortmund , they told me , They like it so much , That they will make this hotel Their annual holiday . So summary we highly recommend this hotel !!! The apartments of the Salzbergalm offer a wonderful and direct view of Berchtesgaden village centre and the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps. This place is unbelievable. High above the mountains with incredible views over Berchtesgaden. The kitchenette was fully equipped, we loved preparing our meals and sitting on the balcony overlooking the alps. The sauna and spa was our highlight after a day of exploring. Highly recommended ! We will be back.

The Alpenglühn offers breathtaking views of the Bavarian Alps. Including a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area with TV, each apartment is decorated in a modern colour scheme. The combination af surroundings, facilities, service and quality will be a hard match anywhere. However, my bet is that you will be even harder pressed to find a match to the ever present host Peter, no matter where you look. He and his crew takes such great pride in your stay being perfect, in a way I have not met anywhere else. The perfect combination of personnal and professional. My only hesitation when recommending Alpenglühn, is the fact that I would like to keep it a secret, to make sure there will still be room for me…
