The location in the hills was magical and mystical . The facilities were fabulous . The alpine breakfast spread was delicious. The whole place is cozy and the highlight is the indoor outdoor heated pool .

This centrally located hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Berchtesgaden Train Station. Each room has a balcony offering stunning views of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps. That is definately one of the best hotels I have lately stayed! Very comfortable, staff super nice and helpfull, everything thought through to the smallest details. You definatelly fell very welcomed and valued here! ❤️

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. The hotel is designed beautifully, the staff were really kind and friendly, especially Emanuel and Frank. There was a wide variety of facilities for both adults and children.

The apartments of the Salzbergalm offer a wonderful and direct view of Berchtesgaden village centre and the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps. The location was fantastic. Getting around was easy we either took the tram a few minutes walk away from the hotel or drove. Driving was a bit challenging with the windy roads. We were close to so many beautiful destinations such a beautiful peaceful place. Our hosts were wonderful and helpful. I’d highly recommend staying there.

We were really made to feel at home after a long hike and arriving soaking wet. The manager was very friendly , the room very comfortable and the food and facilities exceptional.

This 4-star-Superior hotel is located in the centre of Berchtesgaden and enjoys a scenic location, overlooking the Bavarian Alps. Everything about this hotel was perfect. We were there for the Christmas market which was right out the back door. Parking was also super convenient, we could take the elevator from our room to our car. We would definitely stay here again!

The Alpenglühn offers breathtaking views of the Bavarian Alps. Including a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area with TV, each apartment is decorated in a modern colour scheme. We had a lovely stay at Alpenglühn. The apartment is very spacious and we loved the pool, especially after a day’s hiking in the mountains. It is in a perfect location to explore the area around Berchtesgaden and the Königssee as it is on the main bus route and the buses are free with the Berchtesgaden guest card.
