We travelled to Denmark, and made a trip in two parts. The first part was an exploration of Funen, with Falsled Kro as our basis. But Falsled Kro was a jewel to discover by itself. We can say a lot, or we can say nothing and rest in wonder. This is a magical place, with lovely and very helpful people, who immediately made you feel at home. And the cuisine, morning or evening, was above expectations. 11/10, and we'll be back someday :).

Overlooking the Great Belt strait, Nyborg Strand is a beachfront property just 2 km from Nyborg’s Old Town. Odense city centre is within 30 minutes' drive.

Superb breakfast, great location, nice room. We ate the Summerbuffet for dinner twice, it was excellent. Despite its vastness, this is a great place to stay. We could store our touring bikes indoors in a special room.

Friendly staff, fantastic service, amazing breakfast, great location, and a very nice restaurant with a lovely view. After learning that we were staying here for our wedding, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a King Suite. We are extremely grateful for this thoughtful gesture — it truly made our stay extra special.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hesselet, and it was a wonderful experience. The setting is absolutely stunning—right between the forest and the sea—with peaceful views and a calming atmosphere throughout. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a beautiful view of the forest. The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was exceptional, with fresh ingredients and elegant presentation (I especially enjoyed the scrumbled eggs and the croissants!). I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Nyborg, either alone or with company!

Great stay at a terrific accommodation! We stayed for 3 nights during our road trip through Denmark. Nyborg is an excellent central place to travel in all directions. Owners were very kind and provided us with good info about the vicinity. The facilities are very clean and the host welcomed us with a nice breakfast basket.

Featuring free access to a fitness centre, this hotel is situated right by Faaborg Fjord. It offers excellent views from the terrace bar and restaurant.

Great hotel! Good value for money and would love to stay there again. Travelled for work and had a truck but the outdoor parking was spacious. Would also go here with my family. Very nice views!
