The location is spot on. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The dinner is great and the breakfast is amazing - quality over quantity. The rooms are nicely done with comfortable bathroom, nice bed and balcony! They also include a surprisingly nice stocked minibar complimentary in the room rate. This is our second visit over the past 12 months and the hotel is only getting better - great management and colleagues running this hotel.

It is an incredibly cozy place where so much is thought off and provided for and very kids friendly. Our host had filled up the refrigerator and freezer before we came and things like coffee and tea were all provided for. They even came to bring home made pancakes the next morning. We had a very cozy evening in the “fire hut” where the host shared many stories of all the objects there. All in all we had a very relaxing time and the kids loved going around exploring in the garden and the house. We will definitely go back in a warmer season :)

We loved everything about this wonderful suite - very large, very beautifully & artistically decorated and everything so clean and beautiful. The breakfast was unique and wonderful - having it delivered to the suite was amazing - enjoying it in the comfort of your pajamas - perfect! Very, very nice place in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Super cute staff, great breakfast. We arrived late, so unfortunately kitchen closed, but the staff made some nice ‘evening snack’!

Located fairly close to the station. Self checkin is very easy and convenient. Breakfast spread was more than good. Niels is a great host! If we visit Skagen in the future, we’d choose Toftegården again 😊.

I am not sure if I should share my enthusiasm here - this is such a great place! Location: beautiful. The strandhytte: Great for a family, cozy and warm and with the right Danish "hygge" feeling. Staff: Friendly. AND - the swimming pool: We did not expect a huge waterslide or in fact an indoor pool of that size. So - although I wish that this stays my little holiday secret, I sincerely wish that this place will get the recognition it deserves.

This family-run hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Kattegat Sea in Saeby, North Jutland. Guests can enjoy access to spa facilities, which includes a rooftop pool and sea-view terrace, for a surcharge.
