Happy hour 7/8 pm in a colonial style bar (Nile river view). You can enjoy the sunset on the Nile having some food or drinks from some tables literally on the river.

Nestled on the banks of the Nile, Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa offers stylish rooms with uninterrupted views from the water’s edge, luxurious spa facilities and stunning infinity pools. When you walk into the cool, marble atrium you really begin to truly experience the hotel and how beautiful it is. Checking in was a very smooth process and we were escorted to our room. It was wonderful not having to carry the suitcases. Our room could not have been better. It was very large and had a nice balcony that looked across the gardens towards the River Nile. It was very peaceful. The room was nicely decorated with a modern painting and a large mirror above the dressing table. There were a couple of glossy booklets that explained various dining options and trips that we could arrange here. A spacious wardrobe with wooden hangers, an iron & ironing board and a safe. Tea and coffee provided and so was a fridge with plenty bottled water. Bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries and plenty of fluffy white towels. The floor was natural stone and the shower tray was granite. It was superb. The air conditioning was easy to control, efficient and very quiet. The bed was huge, spotless white linen, four large, comfortable pillows. The door onto the balcony also had a fly screen – they have thought of everything. It was a perfect room and we really relaxed and slept so well whilst here. The hotel grounds are extensive. The gym is very well kitted out, nice and cool and has a water dispenser. The spa provides ladies and gents steam rooms and saunas, reflexology foot baths and relaxation rooms with water beds. There are also a variety of treatments that you can pay for in wonderful private rooms with huge glass windows looking across The Nile. We had body treatments. Three different pools, a variety of restaurants and bars. It is a perfect hotel. The staff and GM were very attentive.

This Steigenberger hotel is situated in the heart of Luxor and provides modern accommodation with stunning views of the Nile. The spacious rooms are air conditioned and feature satellite TV. The staff are a credit to this hotel. They are always so happy to help and available. The hotel has 4 restaurants to choose from. We had tasty meals from all. The pool is reasonably sized and plenty of areas to lounge. They have pool side drinks and food service which is great and good value for money. Overall we had a great 3 days here and would stay again if we go back to Luxor some day.

This is a hidden gem in Luxor. It’s a brand new hotel with modern architecture. Pool area and garden is our favourite. The staff of the property are so nice and helpful. They have organised all our tours in Luxor, they gave us a brand new car and a brand new boat for our tours. Restaurant of the property is serves delirious meals. From the start to finish our tour and stay at the property was flawlessly perfect. The property staff went above and beyond to make our holiday perfect.

The price was very reasonable so I had some doubts at first, but it turned out to be a very enjoyable stay. The food was delicious (thanks for showing me how to make Egyptian rice btw), and breakfirst was plenty that I ended up skipping lunch 😂 Mohamed was always smiling, and Hamdi was super helpful with everything. I also joined a tour with Hamdi, and it was definitely a highlight of my trip, he knows so much and makes it really fun and interesting. I would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor.

The breakfast on the upper terrace was great. The walk along the Nile into town just great, even at night. I oxen, camels, horses, sheep and goats. I saw children playing and balloons filling the sky. The wonderful staff helped me rent a bike and I rode it to all the sites! I liked the historical sites close to the villa better than the valley of the kings because it was less crowded. I think it would be best to stay for while here.
