Saiid the owner is trustworthy and was genuinely helpful with the organization of our trip: - found us a way to go to Aswan when no bus or train were available - found a motorcycle to rent at a cheap price (I'm pretty sure it's not a common request) All in all, this hotel is well managed, cares about its guests, and it shows !

The price was very reasonable so I had some doubts at first, but it turned out to be a very enjoyable stay. The food was delicious (thanks for showing me how to make Egyptian rice btw), and breakfirst was plenty that I ended up skipping lunch 😂 Mohamed was always smiling, and Hamdi was super helpful with everything. I also joined a tour with Hamdi, and it was definitely a highlight of my trip, he knows so much and makes it really fun and interesting. I would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor.

The breakfast on the upper terrace was great. The walk along the Nile into town just great, even at night. I oxen, camels, horses, sheep and goats. I saw children playing and balloons filling the sky. The wonderful staff helped me rent a bike and I rode it to all the sites! I liked the historical sites close to the villa better than the valley of the kings because it was less crowded. I think it would be best to stay for while here.
