This is a beautiful little hotel in the most perfect location. It’s new and very well decorated. My room had a beautiful view to the bay. Just outside are two very good restaurants with outside sitting and view of the ocean. Of all the places we went in our trip, this was our favorite place. The people of Mundaka are very friendly and welcoming.

Tranquil and idyllic, surrounded by farmland and vineyards. Just 30 mins away from San Sebastian and 10 mins from Hondarribia. Juan is a perfect host. Breakfast consists of homemade offerings and hot scrambled eggs. Dinner was superb too. We had an upstairs room which was clean and spacious. There is no lift. We particularly enjoyed the large and cosy common spaces for relaxation.

Gorgeous hotel in a remodelled castle , every detail is thought through, location is remote , but close to wineries and was a good break to stay in this hotel after crowds in San Sebastián . Owner served gourmet homemade, freshly prepared breakfast in a very nice dining area and was beautifully served. Highly recommend for an upscale boutique experience on a way to Rioja. Five star all the way.

Amazingly helpful and kind staff who made the stay very special and comfortable, and gave lots of advice on things to see in the area. The hotel is beautiful and stylish, and the room was incredibly cosy and comfortable with its own jacuzzi bathtub and views of the hills behind the hotel. The hotel restaurant with views over Bermeo and the sea served the most delicious food we ate throughout our whole holiday.
