Hotel Carlos I Silgar is located just 50 metres from Silgar Beach in Sanxenxo. It offers a spa, a fitness centre and rooms with free Wi-Fi. The Spa was excellent, clean, open and super relaxing. The breakfast options were good and the food was delicious. The building was classic and elegant, with all the expected modern amenities without losing it’s older charm.

This converted Galician country house offers gardens with sea views and direct access to Carril Beach. The room and view were the best part of my stay.

The property was amazing and so was the staff. We wished we were staying more than a night. I was under the weather and took a bus to the closest town. The staff made sure our unit was ready as quickly as possible and then came and got me from the bus stop. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck over looking the ocean, we had requested a bottle of wine and it was in the fridge chilling for us. Since we had an early start planned they brought up our plentiful breakfast the night before. And the views! You need to be able to climb hills to each elipsoid but it’s totally worth it when you get there.
