This beautiful house and restaurant that has been in Eduardo’s family for generations exceeded all expectations and they were already high! There’s history, there’s beautiful food and Eduardo himself couldn’t be more accommodating. He shared the history of the house and showed me all the photos of his family dating back to when it was founded in 1902. The place is a slice of history with everything you need. Try the Bacalao dish which is a family recipe too, it was beautiful. Thank you Eduardo, we will be back!

Featuring impressive views of the medieval castle, Posada el Zaguan is located in Turegano. This guest house offers free WiFi and an on-site restaurant and bar serving local dishes. Very good place to stay with a decent price/quality ratio. Clean, nice view to the castle, professional staff but more on the "cold" side.

It’s like staying in a medieval house but fully updated meaning that no moldy or old smell lingering. The furnishing and decor was done artistically and with so much detail. It’s like a museum in itself. The bathroom was totally updated and modern.

La Viña is located in San Rafael, just 20 minutes’ drive from Segovia and its famous aqueduct. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Lovely, friendly welcome with safe garage space for our bicycles. Very comfortable room, coffee machine with pods and milk in the fridge. A complimentary bottle of cava in fridge. Reasonably priced minibar. Delicious breakfast that was set up half an hour early to allow us to make an early start on our bikes. Their La Vina restaurant opposite was very good for the lunchtime menu del dia. It was closed in the evening otherwise we would have gone back in the evening.
