One of the highlights was undoubtedly the delicious breakfastin the morning morning—fresh, flavorful, and made with care, it was the ideal way to start the day. The attention to detail and personalized service truly stood out, leaving a lasting impression.

Featuring rustic décor and wooden finishes, Hotel Rural Quercus Tierra has a restaurant where only breakfast are served, a shared lounge and meeting facilities. The accommodation was great, beds comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

We'd stayed at Finca El Castillo before (in one of the Cabañas) and had been fascinated by the idea of staying in La Cueva, so we were delighted to find it available for when we would be passing through La Cabrera again. Finca El Castillo is a very chilled, relaxed and friendly place with a nice pool area and plenty of space.  It's great for dogs!  It's a little quirky, but that's what we like about it.  La Cueva is definitely unique, but it's also blissfully cool in hot weather, spacious and very comfortable.  The spa bathroom is magical!  Kitchen facilities are pretty basic, but adequate because you have a menu from which you can order food (including breakfast) that is then delivered to your accomodation where you can enjoy it outside watching the squirrels or inside at the massive baronial-style table.  There's also plenty of parking, the staff are lovely and all in all it's just a really laid-back, easy place to stay.  We'll be back!

This was such a cool stay. The castle was three different stories. The entrance is through a big boulder with beautiful wrought iron. You walk up the stairs to the first bedroom, which feels as if it is in a cave but is still very airy and has a window. Then you continue to walk up, and it's a great big living area with comfortable couches, a big fireplace, a dining room, and a good-sized kitchen with a bathroom. The best part is there is a massive terrace. Then you continue up the spiral staircase to a large bedroom with multiple beds, a bathroom, and a beautiful terrace where you can see views in all directions. You can see Madrid From the Terrace, and behind you, you have striking, rugged mountains. I wish we would have been there for longer and had time to hike all the trails. We did get a chance to walk down to the small vineyard, taste some grapes, and just enjoy the surroundings.
