Apukka Resort is in Apukka, just 15 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. The property features multiple saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. The room is super cute and clean, I love the design and decorations! There are some trolleys for you to move luggages much more easier. Breakfast is quite good, staffs are friendly and happy to help. Set by Lake Kilpisjärvi off the E8 motorway, this resort is within 7 km of the Swedish and Norwegian borders. It offers cottages and apartments with private saunas, full kitchens and free Wi-Fi. We have been there in late January 2025 and despite the freezing temperatures outside, the suite felt very cosy and intimate, even if it has big windows with beautiful winter view. Also it has everything you need, with the little kitchen impressively fully equipped. It was spotless clean everywhere, parking space in front of the place, wi-fi was great. For Aurora hunters it's a perfect place, you can walk outside and see it from the frozen lake nearby. We enjoyed our stay there and we'll definitely come back.

Wilderness Hotel Juutua is located right on the banks of Juutua River, in the immediate vicinity of Inari village's services. The award-winning Restaurant Aanaar is located in Wilderness Hotel Juutua.... Everything was above our expectations! Lovely spacious room. Nice with airconditioner. Quiet area. Wonderful restaurant for a romantic dinner. And fantastic breakfast with local food ( juice, jam, bread, fish). Loved everything there!

We chose a place to stay further away from the city center, looking for a remote and quiet place away from the tourist crowds, but with the convenience of good service and a restaurant. The host is an awesome guy who cares a lot about his customers, and his little dog, Onni, is a real sweetheart. The place is like old time Lapland accomodation. The atmosphere is very calming, silent and homelike. Food is exceptional here and local products are used to prepare them. We got to also witness the Auroras with a small surprize from our host. The place was absolutely stunning. The views with the tree and frozen lake in the background were unbeatable. Big place with a nice sauna. Great price.would highly recommend to all.
