The staff were exceptional and can not fault their hospitality. We were made to feel right at home and were answered to always with a smile.

This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. Great place to see the aurora without having to leave the bed! Being right at the lake offers some great views during sunrise and sunset, though the temperatures might be too low for some people to risk a morning swim. The staff is also very friendly.

We chose a place to stay further away from the city center, looking for a remote and quiet place away from the tourist crowds, but with the convenience of good service and a restaurant. The host is an awesome guy who cares a lot about his customers, and his little dog, Onni, is a real sweetheart. The place is like old time Lapland accomodation. The atmosphere is very calming, silent and homelike. Food is exceptional here and local products are used to prepare them. We got to also witness the Auroras with a small surprize from our host. It is a charming city away from Rovaniemi, it was a bit of scary ride of 2h30min over snow and icy roads. But getting there, we love everything about the place, our room was perfect, the pictures are as true as the experience. We had our private sauna and jacuzzi which we spoiled ourselves everyday. Breakfast and dinner was nice at the receptiom. The place is near to all attraction ski and the middle of nowhere views. We will be returning as we are in love with everything here! We even saw the northern lights from our room.

The hotel is right in front of a lake and every room as lake view. In our case we had snow and the lake was frozen, but the area and the hotel offers plenty of activities for that weather. We were travelling with our little girl so we couldn't book a Aurora Borealis "hunt" but we were lucky enough to see the Aurora from our room at 10pm! It was so magical. I recommend this hotel and this trip to anyone that wants to disconnect and have amazing days in the nature.
