Apukka Resort is in Apukka, just 15 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. The property features multiple saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. The resort have list of things you can do here ( additional fee, of course ) We stayed only 2 nights so we just stay here and enjoying the resort, relaxing.

Its out of the way, its safe for kids, there are nature walks right next to where you're staying. The place was spotless, furniture was comfy and very inviting. The old addage of you dont holiday to stay in your hotel is applicable but where you are tired and in need of just a couch day, this place absolutely fits the bill. Privacy was good, you have neighbours but you're not watching their tv and listening to their music by proximity. Lots of animals doing the rounds also, we saw white rabbits bouncing around the snow and reindeer on the nature trails. The host was very obliging and despite my ludicrously early check in request still managed to cater for me and the two kids on very short notice. The host was also very obliging in offering us additional resources where we needed them and also on very short notice. Its also off the beaten track yet close to the airport. A very well balanced combination.

The Yurt is gorgeous, comfortable and warm, and it feels like a truly unique experience in Europe. The hosts are unbelievably hospitable and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Everything is thought through to the tiniest details. It is very quiet and peaceful and our whole family had a great quality sleep. Highly recommended!

The house was beautiful and everything was available. There's washing machine and dryer and sauna available. And children slippers were also provided for the stay. Many different types of sleds were provided in the garage and the kids ( and adults) could have fun with the sleds in the hill just at the backyard. Saw the northern lights at the backyard.

Located within Santa Claus Village, Glass Resort is set in Rovaniemi. All apartments comes with floor-to-ceiling windows, sauna and a private outdoor hot tub. Everything was amazing: location, services, staff. The resort is beautifully sitting in the middle of the forest. Sitting in a hot tub surounded by trees and snow was experience for a lifetime.

Beautiful villa, sauna and jacuzzi and the fireplace make from this place a heaven! The owner are very helpful and welcoming. We had a such a great time in here that we were sad to leave!

Highly recommended for a perfect getaway!
