They were welcoming to dogs, and because of our lack of planning, they graciously allowed us to join a delectable evening meal that was being prepared for other couple who were also guests. Everything was excellent, and we'd recommend to anyone making the drive between the north and the south of France. We wished that we spoke more French to be able to communicate better with the host parents who live on the property and who welcomed us and prepared the meals. That said, our lack of French in no way impeded our ability to coordinate.

The property is an adventure like no other place we have visited.

The property has garden and quiet street views, and is 11 km from Château de Chenonceau. The guest house features a hot tub and a shared kitchen. Our welcome by Angie when we arrived was fantastic, she and Emily have completely renovated the building and we're so excited to share it with their guests. I can't praise them highly enough. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. If you are close by, you must book this Chambre d'hote. Montrichard is a fabulous town to explore too.

The host was very helpful and the standard of cleanliness and quality of accommodation was excellent and the location was excellent. I would highly recommend.
