The lodges are all beautiful and impeccably done. The staff are wonderfully friendly and it is truly a special place to stay. The lodges are incredible. Such wonderful detail and all you see are trees from each window. There are little ovens, a hob and a full size fridge so plenty to make a small meal there but we had takeaway pizza from the local village. Early evening the staff lit a fire at the communal area and there were marshmallows and sticks for everyone to toast a marshmallow. There’s a box of children’s toys and some excellent beers and wine so it’s a lovely space to spend early evening. Everyone was really friendly and my children made friends with other children (despite not speaking the same language). I would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone and will most certainly be back.

Chateau Du Landin is a property dating back to 1756, set in Le Landin, on the edge of Brotonne Forest just 6.6 km from Bourg-Achard. This was a very special stay in a wonderful chateau but the most outstanding thing was the absolutely fabulous view. The room was very large with a big but modern bathroom windows looking out onto the view. There was parking for our bike. The breakfast was delicious and the lady made eggs as requested. We ordered dinner in advance and you make your selection of courses on arrival. The menu choice is small (3 dishes per course) and unfortunately 2 things weren't available but the food was nicely cooked by a very nice lady. Staff were very nice and this was a wonderfully relaxing stay in a very special place.
