The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was well-equipped and neatly arranged, and the breakfast was excellent. The welcome drink was also a lovely touch.

Now if I do this little bit of paradise found justice in the review, you will either not believe me, or FAR more importantly I will never get to stay again because it will be fully booked! One winds through an ever narrower lane, not entirely sure of where it leads until the final corner when Domaine du Val Savage is revealed in all its natural beauty. Down a long private driveway, the first thing to observe is the wood fired hot tub on the left. Once you’ve passed this the house then reveals itself. With the swimming pool in front of it and Truffeau stone cliff, complete with caves to the right. All surrounded by forest and birdsong. The greeting from both Vincent and Caroline was very warm indeed. We were shown to our room by Caroline via the separate entrance through the woods. Travelling light is a bonus at this point ;-) The rooms are simply beautiful. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. This stay is a woodland oasis of calm. Should you not want to leave then evening meals etc are also available. We sampled three of these and all were delicious. We have visited the Loire many times now and this is head and shoulders above anywhere else we have stayed, and we’ve been very lucky previously.

Great location, excellent service and hospitality. Very professional. Especially now with the Christmas set up, very nice decoration! Great hosts with their friendly dog too :-) a great stopover for our long trip.

Housed in a building dating from 1906, this guest house is 31 km from Vinci International Congress Center and 31 km from Tours Train Station. Guests can use the spa facilities, or enjoy garden views. We loved everything. Starting from welcoming owner, impressive exterior and interior.

Our room was spacious and well furnished, with a minibar, bathroom with both shower and bathtub, and a very comfortable double bed. The windows had mosquito nets which we have found very few places to offer. One of us used the pool despite inclement weather, and the family immediately helped her with towels. The breakfast was excellent. And of course - the lady running the chateaux is an absolute star. She had bought gluten free bread for me for breakfast! She was also extremely helpful and had many suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We did a day trip to Chateaux Chenonceaux with a lunch stop i Tours.

Fabulous stay in the family room at the Chateau. Separate bedroom with 3 single beds - one for each child. Exceptional breakfast and beautiful grounds. We were able to use the pool and relax a bit which was great. Large bathroom. Cute little town but avoid the Creperie - doesn't live up to Trip advisor reviews.

Travelling down south we stayed overnight .This is a hidden gem peaceful , beautiful and safe . Our hosts were most accomodating .Wonderful stay 😁

The lounge features a pool table a TV and internet access. Some guests may choose to visit Amboise, 2.5 km from the residence or Château de Chenonceau, a 16 km drive away. Private parking is available in the courtyard. So special. We planned to go to Chenonceau the next day, so I was amazed to find out that this chateau was built by the same couple who built Chenonceau. We stayed in the private suite at the top of a small hill. Should have packed lighter because there were some stairs. It was definitely worth it. Luxury cave experience with great facilities.
