Este hotel do século XIX está localizado no centro da bela Mont Dore e é uma excelente base para explorar o Maciço de Sancy. Excellent in every way.Beautiful hotel with Excellent staff. Would highly recommend it and in a beautiful town. Would pass as a 4 star hotel.

We stayed on our way to catch the ferry home from Caen. It was very easy to find and a stunning property steeped in history. The rooms were fascinating and we felt welcomed by Joseph and Ogen who were friendly and explained the history and restoration of the property which dates from 1260. The rooms that we stayed in had a modern shower bathroom between them and beautifully soft bathrobes and large towels were provided. We requested the evening meal and it was the best food we had eaten on our entire holiday, we were also asked for any dietary requests as well. Creatively prepared leek vinagrette opened the meal, local vegetables and deliciously moist cod for the main course and the meal finished with fresh strawberries and homemade Chantilly cream. They had a fully stocked bar which complemented the meal. It was a truly unique stay and would love to return when the weather would allow us to use the outdoor pool! We had breakfast the next day which consisted of fresh croissants and jam and Ogen also made some divine scrambled eggs with chives.

It was just the two of us in house and the hosts. Was so cute they hosted us for drinks then dinner. They barely speak English and we only speak a little French so there was a lot of Google translate but it was hilarious. They're so lovely. And then they put on breakfast spread for us too. Nice to have essentially a home cooked meal and a cosy place to stay.

Our stay at Gunter and Heidi’s charming farm near Conques was exceptional. The setting is spectacular, peaceful countryside with many attractions close by. The room was beautifully appointed, featuring a superb shower and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the hospitality truly outstanding. We left feeling relaxed and warmly welcomed, and we look forward to returning soon.

Apenas a 28 km de Zénith de Saint-Etienne, Chez Sophie et Gilles fornece acomodações em Monistrol-sur-Loire com um jardim, um terraço e uma receção aberta 24 horas. Wonderful welcome from Sophie and Gilles and the whole place was superb. An amazing breakfast full of many homemade treats (yogurts, jams etc). The accommodation was excellent, and located in a beautifully quiet area of countryside.
