We arrived on our bicycles, after a hot day of riding. Our bicycles were safely stored in the garage, we then had a swim, followed by a cold beer by the pool. We then met the extended family, three dogs, one cat, seven donkeys and the chickens. Our lovely host provided us with dinner, which we had requested the day before. Breakfast the next morning was served outside by the pool. We were able to have breakfast at 7:30 which was much to our liking. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hosts were welcoming and charming. Every possible amenity and more were available. The reconstruction of an old building was stunning with a wonderful mix of old and new. An added bonus was a small kitchen and laundry facility available for guests to use. The property was secluded and quiet. This was perfect for me to relax after an arduous workshop nearby. I hope to return frequently!

The Villa L’Arche is located in Bidart, just 50 metres from the beach and 6 km from St Jean de Luz and Biarritz. It offers an infinity pool, a hot tub and sea views. The view was wonderful. We had a balcony and it was lovely to sit there in the evening. The staff was super friendly and had good suggestions for eating and visiting. Breakfast was very good and it was until noon. The pool was big enough for lap swimming and the ocean in front of the property was ideal for body surfing. The body boards we got from the hotel. Also the parking garage was very convenient.

Ostapé is a 5-star hotel located in the village of Bidarray, halfway between the mountains and Biarritz on the coast, which is a 30-minute drive away. Fantastic Michelin star food ( although didn’t have a star when we went but deserves one). Great, friendly professional staff

This 5-star hotel has 2 pools and a spa and fitness centre with hammam, hot tub and massage treatments. Most incredible, luxurious and overall unforgettable experience. L’Hotel du Palais has succeeded to live up to its historic reputation and demonstrated its grandeur throughout our stay. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful and catered to all our needs, and beyond. The facilities were astonishing too. The breakfast was grandiose, matching the splendor of La Rotonde in which it is set.
