House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Our family stayed with Kev and Kirsty for two nights and though we arrived in the middle of the night, we immediately felt safe and welcomed in their beautiful little b&b, in which they put so much care and love. We loved starting our day with eggs from the chickens outside of our window and need to come back to try all their amazing breakfast options. two of our family members celebrated their birthdays during the stay and Kirsty and Kev made us feel like extended family. we are very happy to come back whenever our way will guide us back to Scotland! thanks a lot !!!

The whole experience was so unique that it is impossible to compare it with any other stay in our lives. The owners are absolutely wonderful, warm and genuinely caring. The breakfasts, lovingly prepared by the lady of the house herself, are nothing short of unbelievable and easily worthy of a royal table. Tell me, where else will the lord of the manor light a fire in the fireplace just to create a perfect atmosphere on a cold Scottish evening? As an airline pilot, many special places have been visited, but this stay is beyond words. No rating scale is high enough to express the level of satisfaction and gratitude for this experience. Loads of bed space for our family of 8 adults and 2 children and the hot tub was super. The house was only a 5 minute walk to the river with other super walks nearby, and Aviemore centre was only a few minutes away, either by car or a short walk.

The Polchar was in an ideal location, had plenty of large rooms for couples, several rooms to gather, a great hot tub, and a beautiful garden path. It was nice to be able to come back from our adventures and cook dinner together.
