I am hard put to find words to convey how blissful we felt. The enchanting grounds/park/gardens, the hard-to-believe set of buildings that constitute the hotel, the amazingly comfy lounges, bars, restaurants, rooms, not to mention the spa and swimming-pool, and - cherry on a gorgeous pie - the staff. They put one on your face, too, all day long. Shall I mention the stunning Cotswolds region? The jaw-dropping honey-coloured 17th-century villages.
