A wood burner created a cozy and memorable atmosphere - we used it nearly every night! Also chocolates and wine left by Jeremy and Lynda which was so thoughtful. Bed was very comfortable and water pressure in the shower amazing. There is also a sauna, small gym and library for guests to use. You have everything you need to cook if you wanted to and also dishwasher and washing machine. Jeremy and Lynda were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The area is stunning!! We loved every minute there and we will definitely be back.

All rooms also have an Nespresso coffee maker, waffle bathrobes and slippers for your convenience. All rooms have a generous hospitality tray and flat screen TV. All rooms have village or countryside views. Scott and Alistair have been amazing hosts and their recommendations super useful. Their place is incredible and an invitation to unwind. The breakfast is exceptional. We'll definitely stay there again.

I've been traveling all over the UK for over a month now, and this is probably the nicest place I've stayed.

We couldn't get food in the town in the evening and hotel restaurant was fully booked but them feed us in the bar area which was most kind
