Warmly welcomed by the host. The bed in the Lady Maxwell room is extremely comfortable with good quality linen so I slept very well. Breakfast was served in the room by the host, as I had my dog staying with me, and it was lovely. There is a short walk down by the river for the dog and a nice, more strenuous walk up the track. Exceptionally quiet and chilled place, full of character and charm.

The property and views are absolutely beautiful, the bed is so comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom absolutely spotless. We’ve had the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend away and the hot tub is amazing!!! Highly recommend and will be telling all of my friends to go for a weekend. Will definitely be looking to come back again at some point!

The Gretna Chase Hotel had a good menu and was staggering distance on the way home We will definitely be back

We would love to return for our anniversary next year! The hot tub was the icing on the cake!
