Nice breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. We had a couple of gifted food items that they put in a refrigerator for us until our room was ready. We really appreciated that.

Our room was one of the Stable Rooms and it was absolutely lovely. The room was small but well-appointed and clean. The staff, especially Alex at reception and the bartenders were pleasant and accommodating....always with a warm smile. The grounds are gorgeous. We will be back!

With an elegant Jacobean Great Hall, this resort a features a leisure centre and traditional restaurant. A perfect few days away was had by both of us. The location is perfect. The accommodation was perfect. We occupied a 2 bedroom apartment, No 53. A ground floor apartment most suitable for the wife who has mobility issues. Couldn't fault it. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Sleeping arrangements were a large double bed, 2 single beds, and a sofa bed in the open plan living room. It is a great size for a large group. Loved the shower room, another generous sized room. We didn't take advantage of the swimming pool or the restaurant, but both looked appealing. Booking definitely recommended for the restaurant, in advance of your journey. Thurnham Hall, superb building with the added bonus of having history. The receptionist was more than helpful during our booking in. Due to the wife's mobility issues, we were given an apartment on the ground floor as we had originally been given an apartment that required access via stairs. It was a wonderful gesture that made the break even better. It was great that the receptionist went out of his way to find us and give us the good news. So thank you. Will certainly revisit.
