House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Douneside House is located in Tarland, 50km from Aberdeen. Douneside House features views of the countryside and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The property was beautiful including the grounds which were an incredible view. Food and bar was outstanding as was the service. It’s definitely out of the way to get to but well worth it.

We had an incredible stay at Old Manse of Craggan. The location is beautiful, the room was stunning and comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious (it was truly next-level). Aleksandra and Piotr were fantastic hosts, made us feel very well taken care of, and showed such attention to detail. We had a lovely bonus welcome from sweet Ludwig the dog as well :)

The host is very accommodating and knowledgeable. The layout of the coach house is fabulous. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to work in. It has more than you need for a stay and surpasses all other similarly priced properties by a mile. I’m struggling to say anything negative. I would recommend it as the place to stay whilst in the area.
