With an elegant Jacobean Great Hall, this resort a features a leisure centre and traditional restaurant. The unit was clean - kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom all looked clean. Also, the unit we got looked fairly new. We requested for a unit with a washing machine inside and got it (depending on availability). Dishwasher was also provided. Staff whom we contacted online and when we met face-to-face were polite and courteous and were really great. Peaceful, no sound pollution. I noticed some reviews mentioned about smell of cow dung in the air, but that's to be expected (the place is right next to a grazing area), but it's only when you walk outside, and only at certain times - no such smells in the accommodation units. Ample parking spaces.

We stayed in the gatehouse which was superb. Wonderfully private, comfortable, cozy and warm with lovely decor and facilities. Hot tub overlooks the deer park, in a very nice private garden. Very dog friendly with the warm water hose a welcome addition. You’d never know dogs use this property as it was extremely well presented. We look forward to returning . Straightforward check in, shown to property by team. Out of hours contacts if required .

Couldn't fault this little Gem, and the Hosts were fabulous and so understanding. I have quite a few health issues and when I had a bad turn early on and struggled to make checkout they were so attentive to my needs, honestly I can't recommend this place enough. It's beautiful.

Quiet, relaxing, nice bathroom and outdoor kitchen with a gas cooker. The hot tub was great. At night, the view with the lights in the distance is beautiful. In the morning there were rabbits running around in the field. Bed had a heated mattress which was very comfortable. Had a nice barbecue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back. Couldn't have asked for more.

If you love a quiet tranquil place with beautiful views all to yourself then this is the place to be. Me and my partner booked this very spontaneously as we had a rare night without the kids , and it didn’t disappoint, it was beautiful inside and out with all the facilities included , it also had a very cozy cottage feel to it which I love . We really enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub and waking up to see all the rabbits running around in the field. I also like that it had private gates on the property and a private drive way, the owner ( Summer) was absolutely lovely and very helpful . We will definitely be returning .
