The property came as pictured and was a great fit for our party of 7 adults and 1 kid. There was more than sufficient space for all. Kitchen was well stocked for our basic needs, especially daily cooking for child with very selective eating needs. Location is right on the main bus routes, which made travel easier especially for the elders in our group for who walking long distances was tiring.

Lodge was beautifully set up with fantastic views and had a great wee woodland walk. Not far from A1 or Dunbar. Upon arrival, there was a lovely hamper of snacks,coffees and teas. Linens and towels were provided, very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was large and clean- one of the cleanest we have ever visited. Property has a wrap around decking- very clean,level and easy to navigate using mobility aids.

We liked everything! It was the best holiday in our life (and we had many)! Spotless, stylish, very comfortable mansion in the heart of the wildlife. We saw squirrels, hares and deers right in our garden! The kitchen has everything you need and even more. Bathrooms are true gems. We enjoyed hot tub and fireplace every evening. Earlier this year I decided that Maldives was the best place for the soul retreat, but now I know that the Penicuik Estate is even better!

Our favourite facilities were the hot tub and the BBQ. The pod was very welcoming, clean and the perfect size for a couple. We loved the outdoor lighting as well and the view was very nice. The owners are extremely welcoming people.
