The staff are amazing and make you feel on arrival that you are joining a family group, you immediately feel you are a member ! The building is Classic History and the immediateiate gardens a joy to behold

Absolutely fantastic stay at Cross Farm, fantastic facilities and lovely hosts. Being able to wake up in the morning to such fantastic views just added to the experience. The cabin itself was lovely,very clean and a great place to switch off. Would ABSOLUTELY a book again!!

The rooms were nice and big and everything looked brand new! Could not fault the cottage! It is in a great location, too! We would highly recommend staying here!

Just spent 3 nights in Leeds with the family and this penthouse was absolutely beautiful. We loved the design, the touches and the fact it had everything needed to make it a homely stay. Instructions were very clear and the dedicated parking space in the basement was just what was needed!

I booked to stay in one of the Shepards Huts for 2 nights as I was travelling to the area for a wedding. We travelled by public transport and was able to reach the huts via taxi (approximately an £8 fare) from Todmorden station but did also did go on a bus passed the site when we were out for the wedding. We didn’t meet our hosts in person but contacted them a number of times via messages on booking.com and they were quick to reply and really helpful in providing information as well as other helpful things they thought may help. The hut itself was beautifully furnished, compact but with everything we needed for a few nights. There was a 2 ring hob and a microwave, a toaster, kettle and small fridge (with a very small icebox/freezer compartment). Tea and coffee were provided and we found some milk in the fridge too (not sure if this is standard or was left by the previous occupant). I would say its definitely worth reading through the handbook they provide for the cabin as it will let you know useful information that may not be immediately obvious like where outside cushions are stashed. One of the highlights for me was the view from our hut (pictured) – it was magical to be able to sit outside the hut looking at the view, as well as enjoying the wood fired hot tub in the evening when all the solar lights came on. I would love to stay here again and would recommend for a cozy stay to other people I know.

We wanted a much needed peaceful break in a quiet rural location but not too far from home and this place exceeded our expectations. The cabin inside is so relaxing, with rustic features, muted tones and carefully placed lighting options, you never want to leave. The cabin was wonderfully clean, with a small but well equipped kitchen, allowing us to cook a three course M&S dine in deal for the ultimate cozy night in. The grounds above the cabin are beautiful, with a winding stream, ornamental gardens, string lights and places to sit to take in the tranquility. For an additional fee you can use the hot tub which we decided not to use this time. There are skylights in the cabin roof without blinds but the host cleverly provides eye masks to combat this however we loved being able to stargaze in bed and had the comfiest nights sleep in the giant queen sized bed. Highly recommend.
