The staff were great, and the payment should be made upon arrival at the hotel. Paying in cash is preferable. The wine was very tasty. Timur is one of the best people I’ve ever met — he took great care of us. Everything we asked for was provided. We’ll definitely go back there again soon.

Boasting river views, Villa Machakhela●ვილა მაჭახელა provides accommodation with terrace, around 37 km from Gonio Fortress. The accommodation has a spa bath and a hot tub. The villa features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We came for the unique view and left satisfied. The real view is even better than the pictures. We were happy to have a clear sky at night and fall asleep seeing the stars. Sights on the way are amazing too. The host is very helpful and kind. We enjoyed tasty food prepared just next door. The house has many useful amenities. We also bought honey from the owner's beehive. We visited during cold nights period and used AC heating, which makes the air dry. Be prepared for it if you are sensitive. All houses we visited in Georgia, especially rental bugalows have little to no isolation even from the floor and heating must keep running or it's getting cold very quickly :)
