Nothing too much trouble and always smiling and friendly. Thanos is an asset to the Ilion Hotel. A charming young man who will go far in any career involving direct contact with the public. Located near the central square of the historical town of Kalavrita, Hotel Filoxenia offers wonderful mountain views, free Wi-Fi and easy access to the area's beautiful nature and ski centre. Everything was perfect. It is close to restaurants, shops and village center. The hotel is clean and quiet with a fine parking. The famous Kalavryta train in 200 m away.

We got a free upgrade, which was super sweet. The staff is amazing and willing to help. The beach is small, but we had no problems with sun beds and umbrellas. Really, enjoyable experience.

Luxurious hotel, delicious food, great pool and lovely peaceful beach. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was very spacious and clean. The hotel is secluded so you need a car to get to other places. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the reception staff made it clear we were in for a great stay. The room, although compact, was beautifully furnished and well-equipped, with a private balcony offering a stunning view over the harbour, nearby beaches, and even the Dimitrios shipwreck in the distance. The hotel’s facilities exceeded our expectations. Everything feels top-class, it fully deserves its high rating and justifies the price. What impressed us even more was the level of quality in every detail, from the premium in-room amenities to the high-end bathroom products. Nothing felt ordinary or overlooked. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options. The staff were attentive and friendly, offering freshly squeezed orange juice or eggs cooked to order, which added a personal touch. The pool area was also very pleasant. In short, we had an amazing stay that surpassed our expectations, and I would absolutely choose this hotel again.

We think this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in Kalamata.. The location is superb, even though it`s in the centre, it was very quiet at night. The room was amazing and there was so much care taken to every detail, to make our room homely and comfortable. A large and comfy bed. The ensuite was excellent, and the shower was out of this world..! Also an amazing help yourself breakfast.. But for us what really put the icing on the cake, was all the staff. Katerina, the general manager, has trained her staff superbly well. They were all friendly, kind and nothing was to much trouble.. Even the cleaners were great..!! We whole heartedly recommend this hotel, you`ll not be disappointed at all...... We will be returning next September...........
