The facilities stood out as top-tier, and while the immediate coastal area might not have presented the expected white rocks and sandy vistas, the hotel's pool facilities compensated impressively. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private pool and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter. At the end of our stay, we were even gifted a bottle of Contessina’s own olive oil – such a thoughtful gesture that made our departure bittersweet. Breakfast was a daily delight – fresh, varied, and always served with a smile. Every morning felt like a warm embrace. The on-site gym is small but modern, and for those wanting more space or equipment, the large and well-equipped gym at the sister hotel is just perfect. Highly recommended! This hotel combines luxury, soul, and genuine hospitality. We’ll be dreaming of Contessina for a long time to come.

Set on an elevated position in Akrotiri area of Zakynthos, Kymothoe is surrounded by olive groves and a well-tended garden. The minute you land at Kymotnoe you get a sense of stillness & peace. The setting is out of a movie & the apartments are fabulous. The pool & walk down to the beach are amazing. The staff are super attentive & catered for our dietary choices, just lovely people. Nikos the owner is a super helpful organising our trips around the Island, a superb host!
