Offering an outdoor pool and a hydro-massage hot tub, Tzampoc Resort is located in Santa Catarina Palopó. What a fabulous stay! We absolutely loved our experience here and after doing a lot of research believe it may be the nicest property on the entire lake. Facilities were beautiful with stunning views from the rooms and infinity pool. Staff were world-class, always smiling, energetic, friendly, and ready to say yes. They truly went above and beyond. Bartender Cristian is the best! Our upgraded room was spectacular and newly remodeled with a beautiful tub overlooking the lake. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks at the pool bar were all excellent. The hotel also arranged for a great couples massage, laundry service, and a private boat tour of the lake. Thanks so much and we will be back!!

Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments are located on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Santa Cruz La Laguna and boast excellent volcano views. Free Wi-Fi and kayak use are provided at this property. The view was spectacular and the place huge and comfortable.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and located at the edge of Lake Atitlán, Hotel Toliman is set in San Lucas Tolimán in the Solola Region, 45 km from Antigua Guatemala. The grounds of this hotel are spectacular! It is right by the dock, so it is easy to walk to the property. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, considering that there are not a lot of options for dining (we were on foot). The food is exceptional, and plenty of it comes from their organic garden, of which we had a lovely tour. The hotel website offers full details of how community minded and eco-friendly this business is. The pool looks odd because it is dark. However, I imagine it helps heat the water, along with the solar panels. If you are looking for a couple of days in paradise, this is the place. And the view from the restaurant 🤩

Set on Guatemala’s Atitlán Lake, Eco Hotel Uxlabil Atitlán has a private jetty and offers free kayak use. All rooms have a balcony with lake views and breakfast is included. The view and the location. It was amazing!

We had an amazing experience here. Yes, there’s not AC but it gets chilly at night so we didn’t need it. The view was amazing, the food was great too. I recommend the stay here.
