To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

El Bolontiku Boutique Hotel & Spa se encuentra a 15 minutos en barco de la isla de Flores y cuenta con pileta al aire libre y restaurante. This hotel is a real gem. Located on the shore of Lake Petén, with its bungalows hidden in the surrounding forest, it could not be more beautiful, relaxed and quiet. Add to that a really good restaurant with exceptional breakfast (everything is made to order, no buffet), and the most helpful and friendly staff you can imagine. The bed was super comfortable, which is really important to me.

We loved our time here. A very tranquil location amongst the rain forest. The staff where excellent, rooms spacious and very comfortable, a great gym for a small hotel and just a nice place to chill.

El Mediterráneo está ubicado en San José y tiene un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar. Such a nice place with a wonderful view. The room was very clean and super comfortable. The atmosphere here was really nice although a bit sad that the water in the whole area is taking over . At the check out we had a little trouble with the included breakfast via booking.com but in the end, after a short call with the manager the owner talked to the staff of the hotel and made everything clear. It's been a very nice place and we would always recommend to others! 😀
