Beautiful hotel. Brilliant, faultless service. Fabulous Rooms with private hot tubs overlooking the lake. Food not amazing, but above average. The french toast was fantastic at breakfast. Incredible setting in the jungle. The little museum is fascinating. The included Monkey tour was a highlight and should not be missed!

The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. Set on the edge of Lake Peten Itza, facing Flores Island, Hotel Casona del Lago offers an outdoor pool and hot tub. It also features free Wi-Fi and free parking. The staff was very helpful, the food excellent The view to the lake was the best. Super clean and spacious rooms.. i want to go back it was the best decision.

Located on Flores Island, linked by road to the shore of Lake Peten Itza, Hotel Casona de La Isla offers an outdoor pool and hot tub. There is 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi. The room had 3 queen beds and was very spacious. We fit my spouse, 2 daughters and father with plenty of room and did not feel crowded at all. The view from the balcony was very pretty. The included breakfast (for the 3 adults only) was delicious and traditional. They offered a shuttle to the airport and even though we had to get there a couple hours earlier, we appreciated the free ride and the driver was great! They also had a bar with great views and the entire hotel was very clean. If we are lucky to return to this area again, we will definitely stay here.
