We absolutely loved our experience here and after doing a lot of research believe it may be the nicest property on the entire lake. Facilities were beautiful with stunning views from the rooms and infinity pool. Staff were world-class, always smiling, energetic, friendly, and ready to say yes. They truly went above and beyond. Bartender Cristian is the best! Our upgraded room was spectacular and newly remodeled with a beautiful tub overlooking the lake. Breakfast, dinner, and drinks at the pool bar were all excellent. The hotel also arranged for a great couples massage, laundry service, and a private boat tour of the lake. Thanks so much and we will be back!!

Accessed only by boat from Panajachel, the apartments at Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments come with a large seating area, plus a dining table and a private terrace with lake views. The private bathrooms are equipped with a shower and toilet. The best review I can give this place is this- I had such a bad stomach infection coming from Mexico that there seemed no conceivable way I could possibly enjoy this place. I was on such strong antibiotics So the fact that I loved it, and was looked after and everything was so beautiful is a real credit to the place It’s easy to love somewhere when you feel good. I felt TERRIBLE and this place felt like a sanctuary to recover in, in the most beautiful setting

The room was bigger and better than I expected, it was clean and very comfortable! There was plenty of amenities and the room came with a fridge, flatscreen TV, air conditioning, amazing shower and plenty of outlets. The room had a great view out over the lake and had a door straight out onto a patio with seating and a hammock, on the roof was a hot tub and more seating. The staff were amazing and very helpful, they do laundry too and its very affordable! Maya was our host and she was incredible but all the staff i spoke to were amazing! Would definitely stay again!! :D
