Everything in the hotel was great (pool, pool bar, breakfasts, room ammenities). The reception staff were polite and helpful and went an extra step to accomodate our needs (bike storage).

Completely refurbished in 2016 and located in a heritage building in the centre of Baška Voda, Grand Hotel Slavia - Adults only offers a restaurant and a wellness centre. Team on site were all extremely welcoming and friendly. Special shout out to the cleaning team who made sure our room was sparkling everyday. Facilities were lovely and location is excellent.

Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

This is an exceptional apartment, situated a short walk from the Old Town. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and equipped with everything that we needed. The views from the balcony were incredible!! Jolanda was the perfect host, she was extremely helpful and communication was outstanding. Fridge stocked with complimentary refreshments, coffee and a bottle of wine. A high standard of cleanliness. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, everything has been perfect — the room, the views, the food, the spa and privacy policy, the service… simply everything! The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully designed with comfort in mind. The pool area is peaceful and relaxing, and the breakfast is fresh, varied, and delicious. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, is the staff. Everyone has been kind, welcoming, and professional, but we would especially like to thank Marijana. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests go far beyond expectations. We are deeply grateful for everything she’s done to make our stay so special. If you're considering a stay in Makarska, don't think twice — Hotel Ani is a gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The lady at the reception Andela (hope I got the name, right) was the star. She was extremely helpful, very courteous and made sure we had a wonderful stay in the hotel.
