The location is amazing, nestle in a cove by the fjords is an idyllic setting. Service, food, people very friendly and welcoming, the best thing for me was the peat fire burning In guests areas and the lobby.

On the site of the former Clifden Railway Station, Clifden Station House offers well-appointed bedrooms and self-catering apartments. There is a pool and Connemara National Park is a 15-minute drive.

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was great, beds were comfortable, food and drink - delicious. Some renovation in progress, but we were aware of that.

Excellent hotel - very comfortable bedroom with bunkbed for the children. The dining food was delicious and they catered for our food allergies. The spa area was very well run and relaxing. We loved the activities on offer in the adventure centre too. The price was excellent. There was a nice reading room too to relax in. It really is in the middle of nowhere so you get a sense of wilderness. It is still not too far from Westport or Kylemore abbey - 30 mins and an hour drive.

Great sized dorm room for the four of us. An excellent location for exploring the West coast - which was beautiful! The option to use the spa was a very welcome bonus and the vegan options in the restaurant were great!

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Enjoyed the swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi in the Leisure centre and the staff member was very friendly and helpful there. The breakfast was well organised with good choice of food. Live piano music in the bar/lounge area added to the atmosphere in the evening.

It’s remote but not far from a small town for anything you might need. The facilities were brilliant the garden area was amazing, we spent the entirety of our time out there either sat around the fire or in the sauna/hot tub. Gerry the host was fantastic and gave us a lovely welcome. I could not recommend staying here highly enough, we were all incredibly sad when our stay was over.

The resort is nicely furnished and beautiful design. the location is really in the middle of the countryside with so many activities around and organized by the resort itself. so it's perfect to stay with your family, relax and have great activities including the spa.
the restaurant is great, diverse menu but all with high quality products

Loved the outdoor pool.. The hot tub wasn't opened until later in the day so we missed that, but I defintletly want to be back.. Breakfast was great, the bed was massive and comfortable, the bathroom is old fashioned but that doesn't bother me!
