The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

If I could give more than five stars, I’d happily break the rating system. We came up to Cavan for our wedding and were simply hoping to find a place big enough for us, our bridal party, and our fur babies (who, as always, insisted on coming as honorary guests). My expectations were… modest, to say the least. And then we arrived. From the moment we parked outside and opened the front door, we just stood there in awe. The house was stunning — fully stocked, spotless, and somehow managed to feel both luxurious and like a warm hug. The vibe suited us perfectly; it was like the house took one look at our personalities and said, “Yep, I got you.” There was so much space for everyone to spread out, yet we still ended up spending our nights gathered around the table playing card games, laughing way too loudly, and creating the kind of memories I’ll hold onto forever. I would 1000% stay here again. Honestly, this might be the only place we ever book in Cavan from now on. It didn’t just meet our expectations — it packed them into a suitcase, carried them upstairs, and tucked them into a beautifully made bed.

Everything was perfect from the start. Sabina and David were so lovely and could not do enough for us to make our stay fantastic. I happened to tell Sabina it was our anniversary and when we arrived at our accommodation, Sabina had a bottle of bubbly on ice to celebrate. We also had our dog Bear with us and she was allowed to go everywhere. Not something you will find in a 'dog friendly' hotel.
