Claregalway Hotel is situated just outside of Galway in Claregalway village. It has a restaurant, a leisure centre with a gym and pool, and spacious air-conditioned rooms. Delicious breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, and super friendly staff. Highly recommend Claregalway Hotel.

The Connacht Hotel is located close to Lough Atalia, 1.5 miles from the city centre. It boasts a leisure centre with a 20-metre pool, spacious rooms, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. Amazing hotel with all facilities you need. Staff was polite and friendly. Comfortable rooms and pleasant stay, especially compared to prices of accommodation in the city. Coffee in lobby is great :)

The Lady Gregory Hotel is close to Coole Park Gardens and offers full Irish breakfasts, a restaurant, and a bar. This is an exceptional hotel. If you like warm rooms, this is the place. We often stay in hotels in ireland and uk and find the rooms too cold. Not at Lady Gregory.. Great welcoming staff here as well.

In Athenry, east of Galway, the friendly Raheen Woods Hotel serves good food and has leisure facilities for kids and adults, including a swimming pool, gym and hot tub. Very nice place- room was very nice. We arrived half hour after they clse the kitchen but they were kind and prepare some sandwitches
