Surrounded by private parkland on the shores of the Atlantic, Renvyle House features a golf course, swimming pool and award-winning restaurant. My Mam and I came for a night for my Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Dinner was exceptional. We spent a cosy night int he bar with an open fire and slept so very well. Then started our next day with a delicious breakfast. I could not fault the place in the slightest.

On the shores of Galway Bay, just a 5 minute drive from the M6 and a 10-minute drive to Galway city and Galway Airport, this 4-star hotel offers luxurious rooms, leisure facilities including an indoor... Very beautiful very well kept old building takes you back in time , with gorgeous furnitures and lovely facilities. The bed was very comfortable, and bedroom good size. Ample parking available. Breakfast was good , bar is open til late. Definitely one of the best hotel I have stayed whilst travelling around Ireland.

The Lady Gregory Hotel is close to Coole Park Gardens and offers full Irish breakfasts, a restaurant, and a bar. This is an exceptional hotel. If you like warm rooms, this is the place. We often stay in hotels in ireland and uk and find the rooms too cold. Not at Lady Gregory.. Great welcoming staff here as well.

In Athenry, east of Galway, the friendly Raheen Woods Hotel serves good food and has leisure facilities for kids and adults, including a swimming pool, gym and hot tub. Great stay with our children (3+5yrs)! Very nice and clean, one day we used the playing area (a small fee) , next we swimmed (incl in hotel price) all afternoon! We also enjoyed some play time around the back, there are a few things to explore for a hour or two. Great base for Galway / Cliffs of Moher and more. Good food!
