Maire was a wonderful host, on arrival the children got to feed the fish. Unfortunately we hadn’t pre booked the hot tub in advance, although we did not get to utilise it that night, we made good use of it the next morning when it had heated up properly. The cinema room with surround sound was wonderful, rooms were spotless and really enjoyed the pool table. I would recommend a two night stay here…. One night definitely isn’t enough.

Beautiful house in the grounds of Kilronan castle. House was spotless. Very easy self check in & out with clear instructions. Beds were exceptional & so comfortable after a family wedding in the castle. Would highly recommend.

JUST WOW.!!
The property is exactly as described, super clean, super comfortable, hot tub was amazing and Claire was an amazing host! There was snow on the ground the night before we were due to arrive and Claire very nicely asked us if we wanted to change to a different date as the roads were so bad but we went ahead and we were so glad we did! Ballyhaunis town was 12 mins away, closer than castlerea and we had a nice Chinese take away for anyone in the future staying in this property! The peace and tranquility is such a win and under 2hrs from Dublin it was perfect for our family reunion. Thank you Claire, we will 100% be back and we can honestly recommend anyone looking for a lovely house away from the world, book this house!! Keith

We had a very relaxing stay in one of Kilronan's self-catering houses. The house was very clean and it was well stocked with everything we needed. The house is a very short walk to the castle itself, which was lovely for going to the pool with the children and for having meals out.

Our stay at the house was absolutely delightful. The cleanliness, comfort, and coziness exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi, which added an extra touch of luxury to our experience. This is by far the best place we have stayed in Ireland.

The pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub were brilliant & water pressure in the room was a fantastic, very relaxing shower. Breakfast was very enjoyable, especially watching nature outside around the property birds etc. Staff were really nice on the front desk and at Breakfast. Unfortunately I can't remember their specific names to mention them.
