Both brothers (Nasir bhai and Amir bhai) were very helpfull, decent and caring as well, it was a pleasant staying experience of 4 days for me and my wife. Hot water, Hot cofee, Hot tea always reached within 10 mins after ordering that was an excellent service provided by them as well. Food was also affordable and delicious, Geyser and bed heater service was also impressive in such low electric region, which is also appreciable. They also used to book cabs for us at reasonable rate. Overall highly appreciable service provided by them, which is really speechless. I will definitely refer my friends and families to stay at HB New world.

Ibrahim and his son Faizaan are wonderful trustworthy people. They helped me plan my entire stay in Kashmir, super helpful and really honest on price. They looked after me from the moment they met me and treated me like family. I even played cricket with his sons ! The trekking that they suggested in Naranag was unbelievable! Views of the Himalayas and the guide Aslam and his family who I stayed 2 nights with were wonderful people. If you are coming to Kashmir, wild rose in srinagar is where you want to stay.

This place is like heaven. Far away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful interiors, welcoming tea and really nice chats with the owner who is an amazing person. Everyone I met there will always bring nice memories to me. I highly recommend this boathouse.

Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Mascot Houseboats is located in Sudarbal in the Jammu & Kashmir Region. We are a mother and daughter travelling on our own, we were a little nervous about coming to Srinagar. There was no need to be nervous, the Mascot the owners and staff looked after us so well, we actually felt safer here than anywhere else we had travelled and it’s became our favourite destination. The mascot houseboats are beautiful and on the best lake, facing towards the mountains, the beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The staff were amazing, our waiters Azard and Nazir were on hand always and took such good care of us. The chef was also lovely and his food was delicious, a choice in meal size would be good though, the meals were huge and we were only able to eat half of what was put on the table. The staff organised a three hour shikara ride to Dal Lake with delicious tea and cakes for our journey. We loved the floating markets, watching the day-to-day life of the locals and we got some amazing photos. They also organise a day trip to and we went up in the gondolas, also an unforgettable experience. We threw food for the Eagles from the top of the houseboat which was also very special. The whole experience was amazing, I think one of the most lovely things was how friendly the locals were, people waved smiled at us everywhere we went. When we return to India, staying here again will be on the top of our list.
