Overlooking Lake Ellidavatn, this hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi access and an in-house restaurant. All rooms have private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. Central Reykjavik is 13 km away. I booked the junior suite which is quite amazing. The nature view of the lake and surroundings are beautiful. The hotel staff was fun and easy going, The food is top notch and they have an outside hot tub for mingling with other guests. Best hotel I've tried so far in Iceland.

Being able to buy cafeteria items with the bracelet was cool and efficient. Friendly staff and well-located venue.

A spacious, modern, tastefully decorated and well equipped apartment close to a range of services. There were also lots of food items which had been left for our use including spices. Great view of Reykjavik with a very comfortable bed. The location is a few kilometres out of Reykjavik but easily accessible by bus. The suite was very clean and just the right size for a couple.

This hotel is located about 5 minutes' walk from Harpa Concert Hall. Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel, Curio Collection By Hilton in Reykjavík features a bath house and complimentary fitness centre. Location was very central. Famous hot dog stand, rainbow street, shopping all a very short walk. Property was so cozy and the room was great and agree with other reviewers - the bed is like a cloud. Heat control in room was good- never cold. Breakfast was fabulous. So many choices and delicious. I wasn’t going to pay the extra but was really glad I did. Very close to Bus Stop so easy for tours and airport transfer. Spa downstairs was fabulous but the room is so comfortable didn’t use but once. Also, 7-11 next door and some drinks etc for sale at the desk. Great experience and so glad I picked this hotel and paid a bit more. Bar area was really nice. And very, very clean!! Loved this hotel!!

Decoration is beautiful, the kitchen is great and the house is very confortable. It is not that far from Reykiavik but it is in an isolated and relaxed area.

Location was close to Thingvellir (25 min out) and also close to most north/western part of the island (30min) which was great to be closer to the ocean and other towns. The house was super cute and modern with heated floors (I think). The kitchen had all the extras you could need to cook or eat with a well-stocked pantry. There was also an outdoor seating are and jacuzzi which we didn't get to use but I imagine it would be nice to sit there. It was super windy outside so the noise is kind of scary but the house did not blow away in the end hahah. it was a great stay and very comfortable place!!!
