Overlooking Lake Ellidavatn, this hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi access and an in-house restaurant. All rooms have private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. Central Reykjavik is 13 km away. I really appreciate the fact everything was very cleaned, well organized. The hotel had insane views!!! From every angle of it. You could go to any corner of the place and find a beautiful spot.

The apartment is very spacious, well-equipped and clean. Our host was very responsive and flexible with our late check-in request. The flat is close to the city centre, and the free parking was a big advantage too.

This hotel is located about 5 minutes' walk from Harpa Concert Hall. Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel, Curio Collection By Hilton in Reykjavík features a bath house and complimentary fitness centre. Very nice hotel in the city centre, with beautiful cozy and warm rooms, very good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

Location was close to Thingvellir (25 min out) and also close to most north/western part of the island (30min) which was great to be closer to the ocean and other towns. The house was super cute and modern with heated floors (I think). The kitchen had all the extras you could need to cook or eat with a well-stocked pantry. There was also an outdoor seating are and jacuzzi which we didn't get to use but I imagine it would be nice to sit there. It was super windy outside so the noise is kind of scary but the house did not blow away in the end hahah. it was a great stay and very comfortable place!!!
