This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs. I loved the location in the peaceful countryside. I liked simplicity and spacious facilities. Farm animals and family business with some long family history adds to the atmosphere of the place. They serve good ice cream too.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

Its a huge 4 bedrooms apartment, very clean and had everything we needed. The location is in a farm and very quiet and we loved it. We only stayed for 1 night and did not use the hot tub.

We loved simply everything! The host was always responsive before and after check-in and made sure we had everything upfront (information how to get there, how to open the door, how to use the hot tub etc.). The cottages are located outside the big cities and we were lucky to get a glimpse of the northern lights (even though not too bright because of clouds). We hadn`t had the time to use the hot tubs unfortunately, but they looks super clean and well-maintained. If I ever have the chance to come back to this area, I will definitely stay here! Thank you!

Owners were helpful and quick in communication. They really provide everything you need. The place is very cosy and comfy. Really good location for the golden circle sights but Skogar and Vík are not too far either. The town also has everything that you may need (grocery store, restaurants etc.). Iceland is wonderful but if Iceland's weather forces you to stay in for a morning or afternoon (and it will), you will be happy you booked this place.
